Part Time Job :)

I started as a part time service crew way back August 2012.
It is not easy to do both; your academics and a part-time job, because there are times that you feel like you want to surrender but I know I CAN! Aja!!
As months goes by I have love my situation already. A student at weekdays and a worker at weekends, well sometimes at weekdays also.
I felt happy and fulfilled of myself because I have help my parents in financial aspect (just a little really).


Sunday June 30, 2013.

I was busy washing our clothes at the house when MarRo's Cocina's secretary called me (Jorge), to go to FKF to help/duty for packing food for the seminar of 400 persons in total. At that time also I badly need money to buy something important so I hurriedly took a bath and did GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

We hurriedly packed the food also because the seminar will start at 4:00 pm and we did start packing at 12:30 pm.

After packing all the 400 packs we have also an event good for 30 persons which is a Birthday celebration (1st birthday). I was so happy like a child in the corner when I saw Minnie Mouse so I asked my friend (Mykin) to take a picture of me with the mascot.

If you love what you are doing then you will definitely enjoy everything that comes along the way.

Thanks to my colleagues who supported and helped me a lot in many  aspects.

Learning Nihongo (Japanese Language)

 As a Hotel and Restaurant Management student of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT); it is in our prospectus to enroll in Foreign language which is fortunately Nihongo (Japanese) language. We are lucky enough to have a lecturer who spent 8 years at Japan.
At our first week, we are required to memorize the Hiragana characters, it was challenging for me because of course it is foreign but I know soon it will be a great help as a hotelier :))

Few days after our lecturer gave us another set of characters to memorize which is the Katakana Characters. I tried my best to memorize these two sets but it is not easy to.

I know someday it will be a great help for me as a hotelier, because we all know that Japanese is one of the big market for tourism.

Speak well and write Nihongo someday.

Kaleido Star Anime Review

When I was a third year high school, I was addicted to this anime that made my dreams grew more and more. KALEIDO STAR!
This anime is an inspiring one because it shows determination in reaching and holding your goals and protect it from other people that will try to destroy it. 
Everyday is full excitement for me to wait and watch this on Qtv. 

The Main characters: 

Sora Naegino 苗木野 そら Naegino Sora
Sora is the main protagonist of Kaleido Star. Her parents took her to Kaleido Stage as a child. Although they died shortly thereafter, and Sora was adopted by her father's cousin and his wife, Sora is inspired by this childhood memory to become a member of the Stage when she reaches adulthood. With her adoptive parent's hesitant approval she travels to the United States to audition. After Sora's luggage is stolen, she stops the thief but is late to the audition. After being dismissed, the owner Kalos, having seen her chase earlier, convinces her to perform in the actual show.

Layla is an accomplished and seasoned, but arrogant, performer of Kaleido Stage. She initially shuns Sora out of bitterness, but accepts her after they become partners for Freedom, a performance that is about people who overcome their differences to be free.

Mia was born in Holland and is a close friend of Sora's.

Anna Heart アンナ・ハート Anna Hāto
Anna is also good friend of Sora's. She, like Mia, comes to accept Sora after the second episode.

Yuri Killian ユーリ・キリアン Yūri Kirian
Yuri, like Layla, is an experienced performer, yet he's deeply traumatized by a terrible tragedy. 

Sarah Dupont サラ・デュポン Sara Dyupon
Sarah is the main singer of Kaleido Stage from the United Kingdom, as well as the building manager for the dorms where everyone lives.

Ken Robbins ケン・ロビンス Ken Robinsu
Ken is the stage manager for Kaleido. 

Marion Benigni マリオン・ベニーニ Marion Benīni
Marion is a young girl living near the stage

Rosetta Passel ロゼッタ・パッセル Rozetta Passeru
Rosetta is a Belgian-born, French-raised world champion diabolo performer.

May Wong メイ・ウォン Mei Won
May is a Chinese-American ex-figure skater and new recruit who challenges Sora's position.

Leon Oswald レオン・オズワルド Reon Ozuwarudo
He comes off as arrogant, refusing to perform with Sora, because she is not skilled enough for him.

Kaleido Star is just amazing! I could watch it over and over again. 
The performances is worth watching that you will be carried away.

Happy Friends

Yesterday was a memorable day for me, because I had fun with them again by eating street foods (kwek2x and tempura) after our class near St. Michael's College. 
Wendy, Heda, KC, Crystal, Seltran, Daryl and Keanan were my companions at that time because Alyson (one of my closest friend) didn't make it because of some reason. 
Anyway we enjoyed eating like on the street while chit-chatting about our experiences on our previous OJT.

It was an escape from day to day activities in school. I was really happy to talk  or chat again with my closest friend before Daryl. 

We have had our pictorial of course to treasure the moments we have as friends. 

Thanking them for being there when I am at my saddest and happiest. 

Treasure friends because someday they will remember you as who you are to them and I will be graduating and I want to enjoy my last year as a student in MSU-IIT.

Escape to so called "Paradise Island"

It was summer 2013.

We departed from Iligan City on March 22,2013.

We arrived at Boracay March 23, 2013 at almost 10:00am.

Excited, happy and curious to explore the island.

The sand was just so fine, the water is so clear and blue.

in Boracay Island, Philippines it is because of our On-the-job training!
And yes we have the opportunity to explore the island. 

My designated establishment was Discovery Shores Boracay. 

A little bit nervous but of course excited to start my training in a resort.

 an island full of parties everywhere, water sports, different kind of people and of course celebrities.

Boracay is a place where you can relax, enjoy water sports and party!

It is where you can touch and enjoy the very fine white sand. 
If you want to explore new things, not just Boracay's front beach but of course the surroundings and the island itself. You will be amaze how God created a very beautiful place for us to enjoy.
